wanted_for_murderIn the United States:

  • 52 million men use contraceptives
  • 38 million women use contraceptives
  • 1.6 million abortions are performed per year
  • 100,000 scientists use stem cells in their research

If you, like many others, thought there were only 91.7 million murders in the United States each year, think again. The problem is much worse than that. Ever since pro-lifers agreed that a “human life” was “anything that has the potential to grow up to be human”, that number has grown by almost 600,000,000%.

Did you know there are almost 50,000,000 virgins in the United States? Virgins! People not having sex! That’s 60 million potential lives not being born. At least!

Did you know that women ovulate once a month? And if they don’t have sex, that egg is simply discarded into the trash or flushed down the toilet? Babies are being flushed down the toilet! Almost all women are committing a dozen murders every year.

Did you know that women have 7 million eggs in their ovaries, but on average only have two children? This is murder on a scale not seen since the Holocaust!

Did you know that a male ejaculates 300 million sperm on average, and even if he’s having sex and not masturbating, only one of those makes a baby? Men murder the equivalent of the entire population of the United States every time they come.

Truly, the Earth is a slaughterhouse.

Cute, Phillip, but it is showing that you have a basic ignorance of science (a bit tongue in cheek, since you really don’t.) Ask any biologist and they will tell you that the unambiguous beginning of a new, distinct, and separate life is at the moment of conception. The moral implications of preventing conception (ie. pregnancy) is a metaphysical discussion best left to each individual in accordance with his or her faith. The moral implications of destroying a new, distict, separate human being is very much a human rights issue.

Science has unambiguously determined when a new life begins, and that is at conception. Perhaps you are in favor of granting rights to kill babies. If you come to that conclusion because you don’t think an embryo is a “life” then you show your ignorance of science. Support your view based on why society should grant such rights instead.

The argument against abortion is that the right to life is enshrined in our Consititution. Morally, we should not as a society promote mass killing. Finally, if the government can grant the right to kill one segment of society, it can grant the right to kill anyone.

What are your reasons for abortion to not only be kept legal, but to also have it paid for by all? I hope it isn’t based only on that weak and unscientific argument of “a fetus isn’t a human,” is it?

Your question is so important that I’m going to dedicate an entire post to answering it! It might take a few days, though.
