This is going to be a short post because it’s a simple question: do men enjoy sex more than women?
I eat ice cream about once a month. There are people out there who eat ice cream every day. It’s reasonable to assume these people enjoy ice cream more than I do, yes?
So, if men want to have sex every day with every hot woman they see, and women only want to have sex once a month and only with that “special someone”, is it not also completely reasonable to assume that men enjoy sex more than women?
If women enjoy sex as much as men, what possible explanation is there for them not wanting to have it very often?

You could brand a man as the ultimate whore of the universe, and that wouldn’t stop him from chasing tail. NOTHING will stop men from chasing tail. The idea that women are just as sexual as man is FALSE. The mere fact that such a thing as being labeled a “whore” can stop women from wanting sex is proof that they want sex less than men, since men would never let such a thing like that stop them.
Men risk their entire careers all the time for sex. Men risk millions of dollars for sex. The porn industry is a billion dollar business, virtually all of it men. Are you really going to stand there, with a straight face, and tell me that women are just as sexual as men?

It has nothing to do with being a man or a woman, it depends on the individual person’s sex drive, as well as how good the sexual experience is for both partners. Saying that men enjoy sex more than women do is ridiculous. Generally, men may seem to want sex more because of social pressure, or the constant flood of over-sexualized and objectified images of women displayed in pornography and the media.
and to ababil: women are not supposed to experience pain during sex, so if yours is, then you’re doing something wrong.

First of all, you’re *facts* are all screwed up. Not all men do want to have sex with every hot woman they see. I mean, they are human beings, not robots, right? Men are not always in the mood, plus they do have hearts (well, most do).

Anyway, how sexual a person is is not determined by gender. It is very individual. Some men crave casual sex like you said, many don’t. Same for women.
Not to mention craving does not correlate with enjoyment of sex. People are sexual beings, so we are always going to crave it at some point or another, whether we truly enjoy it or not (unless there is something wrong with you).

I want sex every day. That just seems normal to me. I eat every day why cant i have sex every day? I am a 51 year old female. I really don’t have any idea, I’ve only had sex once in my whole life. Married 45 years and we had sex on our wedding night. He told me sex was nuts, disgusting, messy, no real meaning, and way to much effort for so little. He told me that sex will never happen again and here it is 45 later and no sex, in fact no nothing. Women can enjoy sex at least as much as men, or even more, through clitoral stimulation (the clitoris does have more nervous terminations). That, to me, is a fact. Now I’m gonna give my personal answer of why I don’t have as much sex as men do, even though I can enjoy it. I’m glad someone quote the research with the women watching straight/gay/lesbian/ape porn, having their blood flow in the vagina measured, and denying they were turned on (the data shows otherwise). It’s a perfect way to explain how I feel.
I feel horny. By images, by actions, by anything sexual, really. But I don’t even thing of doing anything about it. It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s not that I actually don’t like sex, I actually don’t consider doing it whenever I want. Because I’m not supposed to.
First of all, women who like sex are sluts. We can have it with our boyfriends, but we can never be too assertive or enthusiastic about it. And then, if I approach a stranger in a bar for sex, what he would think of me? And how would he treat me? I could get raped, he could use me for his pleasure only, and I would be to blame, because I seeked him. And even though I’m on the pill and we could use a condom, there’s always a nagging, evolutionary fear of getting pregnant.
So I repress my urges. And honestly, I’m so conditioned to this that it’s become second nature. I’m quick to dismiss the thought of one-night stands. That’s why I get pissed when guys talk about their precious urges. Why they can’t just ignore them like I’m so used to ignore my own? How are they even allowed to acknowledge them when I’m not?
Also, that’s why I like to have an emotional connection with the boys I have sex with. If he likes me, chances are he won’t abuse me, and I can count on him if something goes wrong. I’ll get lucky (in the only way I can).
Remember, I’m not talking about anyone but myself, but I guess a lot of women can relate to this.
